About the Author

Born and raised in Prince George. Barbara was raised with her father as the primary care giver with her two older brothers. Faced with adversity from a very young age she grew up with an ability to be strong and rise above extraordinary difficult situations. One of the most difficult challenges she faced is found at www.quitsmokingbmp.com and is noted there as evidence that Barbara knows a thing a two about overcoming obstacles.

Barbara shaped herself into exactly the kind of person she wanted to be with the goal of rising above circumstances in order to show others that anything really is possible. This was done by studying at home with self improvement books for the course of twenty years. The accumulative information lived out year after year has made her the person she is today.

Barbara smoked for thirteen years in total and that included starting again after having cancer surgery. She started smoking very young and quit the first time at eighteen for one year, next time she quit for two years. She started again and examined her method. She added two things to the program and now in 2007 it has been seventeen years without even one puff!

They'll tell you that in order to quit smoking you have to want to. You must, however, admit you are willing to change. Quitting smoking is about changing, period. In order to change you must have a plan. What are you going to do first? This book is the master plan that will help you to get started.

The first segment allows you to continue to smoke while you examine what obstacle you might encounter when quitting, such as your ritual cigarettes Also, what do you find is the most difficult part of quitting? What is the best time to quit? What could motivate you to change? That question and more are dealt with. You will learn how to be a happy nonsmoker. Getting ready is an important part of this program. How can you do anything if you are not ready?

In the seconded segment I'll tell you one of my favorite secrets, one I highly recommend, even though many quit smoking programs do the opposite. This secret can help you deal with approximately 75% of your withdrawal episodes. You'll have to trust me on this one. Try it and you'll see that I'm right. Also in this segment you'll learn why many smokers procrastinate and you'll learn about will power. You don't have to worry if you don't have any because I'll show you how to get it, grow it and fine-tune it.

You'll have to look at and examine your beliefs that make you who you are. You will uncover what really motivates you. It does take some effort to do this work but I assure you it is better than the effort it takes to live and die with cancer. I will also share one of my most powerful visualization strategies that did wonders for my motivation. It scared the heck out of me! At this point you will anticipate quitting.

Part three of my program is where you will learn about the power of suggestion and a never before seen type of self-hypnosis. For those skeptics out there, please give this a chance because it's different from what you might expect. This whole program is about learning and changing from within.
