About the Book
I've never considered myself a poet, artist or songwriter. It was always just easier for me to put my thoughts on paper. Over the years I've collected quite a box full of these thoughts and this book is a small bit of the words in that box.
Ink is simply a collection of words. My personal feelings, thoughts and emotions put on paper. Ink from my heart.
About the Author
Wyatt was born in West Germany, grew up in Alabama and has now found his home in Northern California. He enjoys the solitude of hiking and camping in the Sierras, watching his beloved New Orleans Saints and traveling whenever and wherever possible.
Excerpt
Ink You make me think too much
Life puts depression in my head
I wish it wasn't this way
I throw it away instead
You make me think too much
Thought twists it inside out
Past makes me hate what's next
Future fills my heart with doubt
Ink is my escape into reality
It helps me help myself see
The paper takes my honesty
Without placing judgement on me
Me, I'm a mixed up kid
Life makes me grow up too fast
You make me want it that way
I still live in the past
You make me think too much
Time runs away so soon
Life plays all by itself
I always sing out of tune
