About the AuthorBorn in Chicago, Illinois on October 8th, 1967, Mary has always enjoyed reading/writing poetry since a young teen. Expressing herself through poetry has always helped her to deal with life circumstances and enjoy all that life provides. Currently, Mary lives in the Village of Arlington Heights, a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. She has two beautiful daughters, Hilary age 10, and Becky age 8. Her daughters participate in Mary's writing by designing the covers of her books! She shares her life with many wonderful people and many wonderful animals as well (including a Moluccan cockatoo)!
Mary works full time as a therapist with disabled children. This has helped
her develop a unique perspective on life's values. The beauty of these
children has helped her discover what is truly critically imperative in life.
