About the Book

For men contemplating vasectomy and for the women who want their man to take his turn at preventing pregnancy, this book tells them what they need to know.


About the Author

The author, a former Associate Medical Director of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, has performed more than 3500 vasectomies, and has personally trained many doctors in the procedure.
He received his education at Princeton University, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and the Harvard School of Public Health.
He served in the Epidemic Intelligence Service, Centers for Disease Control, of the United States Public Health Service. After he became Board-Certified in General Preventive Medicine, he opened a non-profit clinic, Population Dynamics, offering methods of birth control, the "Ultimate in Preventive Medicine".
He has produced three videos on vasectomy for medical training. One of which was broadcast to over 1500 U.S. hospitals via satellite. The most recent version, 'Vasectomy, A Useful Procedure' is available from Health Sciences Consortium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Dr. Denniston resides on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State with his wife, Martha.
