"PHARABA" is the story of James Samuel Teer and his family. The story begins in the 1850s in Drew County, Arkansas where the Teer and Ferguson families were living. After Jim and Pharaba Ferguson married they moved in 1880 to Williamson County, Texas to join other relatives. The book continues with stories that have been passed down about their daily life in and around Granger, Texas. Come take a walk down memory lane with the Teer family in central Texas. Relive their good times and their hardships. These stories about the Teer family provide an open window to see the life and times in Texas during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

About the Author
Robert "Henry" Teer, Jr. was born in Mexia, Texas on April 11, 1937. He grew up in Denver City, Texas near New Mexico. Henry attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas where he graduated with a BA Degree in Math. He served in the U. S. Army for six years with foreign tours of duty in Germany and Vietnam attaining the rank of Captain. Henry was a Captain for Braniff Airlines and Express One Airlines for a total of thirty years. In 1997, he accepted a position with the Federal Aviation Administration as an Aviation Safety Inspector with the major airlines.
Henry's hobbies include genealogy, photography, and woodworking. He and his wife, LaRue, have four children and eight grandchildren.
