About the Book

It's Cool to Cook! is the brainchild of Elizabeth Anne Downing. After teaching food studies to junior high and high school students for many years, Elizabeth came to understand that teenagers love to cook. They just need the right recipes and the incentive to get started. About the Author

Elizabeth Anne Downing taught food studies for over twenty years in the Calgary Separate School Board. She began her teaching career in Halifax, NS, where she grew up. many of her recipes are family favourites based on her roots in the Maritime provinces. Elizabeth Anne continues to develop new ideas in the kitchen and is focusing on developing the It's Cool to Cook! business line.
