Dr Chris Aldrich, B. Eng. (Chem.), M. Eng. (Metall.), Ph.D. Eng.,
University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, is listed in Marquis' Who's
Who in the World (2002), 2000 Outstanding Scientists of the 21st
Century and 2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century (2001)
by the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, United Kingdom,
as well as 500 Leaders of Influence, 10ed (2001) by the American
Biographical Institute, Inc., NC, USA. He was among other the
recipient of the British Association (S2A3) Silver Medal (2000), as
well as President's Award (1995) of the Foundation of Research and Development (FRD) in
South Africa for international recognition of his research into thev development and application of artificial intelligence in the process industries.
He is married to Annemarie and they have two children, Melissa and Christiaan.
When time permits, he enjoys tennis, chess and has a keen interest in nature conservation.
