About the Book THE WORLD TODAY - TOMORROW begins with drawing our attention to the dastardly, violent, global corruption rampant in the world today. Then it attempts to find the causes, by pointing at governmental systems; the super rich elites; and at conspiration organizations - with a big question mark! The third section concludes with a proposition to convert the global government systems into a 'participatory direct democracy' in which government members are transformed into public servants - serving, and administering the will of the people, who in turn are strictly guided by the dictates of 'moral Law' at the core of the national Constitutions. All legislation local, national, and foreign policy; and or any proposition affecting the lives of the people - must conform to the dictates of moral precepts at the heart of the Constitution.

About the Author The author Steve Mathe, is an Australian age pensioner, now living in Germany with his German wife of three years. He has been a searcher of Truth for many decades, mostly on spiritual lines. After much study of all comparative religions; modern and ancient; with all the horrors on Earth in the past as today - he came to the conclusion that a): - the preached personified God is false, b): - does not exist, or c): - He does not operate according to human concepts and or, to human expectations. Steve was never interested in politics, being of the common mind that politics is dirty, corrupted up to the neck - and not worthy of wasting time on it. Till the 1970s! He followed the installation of U.N. with great promises to Mankind regarding Justice and Peace - which has turned into a great lie! Then he looked at local politics, and found them full of hypocrisy and corruption. Steve saw that 'Political Party Government' could not and would never work for the 'Greater Good' of the people. A brilliant idea manifested itself into his mind. "Why not have the people propose legislation and policy, and reduce the politicians' power to that of 'Public Servants' administering the Will of the majority of the People?" That's how the Citizens' Rights League came into existence. Later on, he discovered that the CRL idea was not a unique idea of his own. The Internet is full of Direct Democracy debates and D. Democracy promotions. The problems, from Steve's point of view with these Democracy promotions is that: they are proposed to be implemented on current global systems - and on current global moral values. It would fail, as all elimination of past cruel governments, often - were replaced with worse ones. Take Russia for example. Replacing the Tzar with bloody Bolshevik Communism. Or in Germany: replacing the Kaiser with Hitler. Or the African nations: replacing the British lion with their own cruel masters. The people going from one form of slavery into another form of slavery - often under a greater despotic ruler. Steve's Citizens' Rights differ from the other proposed Direct Democracies in the fact that under CRL, all legislation and all policies have to conform and be in harmony with the ' Moral Dictates in the Constitution.' The often heard objection is that: " you can not legislate morality on the people." True! But you can legislate morality in the Law. After all, we do have some moral rules in our laws now - but they are concocted and formulated to favor the gains of the lawmakers and the big Corporations! Steve could not make much headway on the Internet as most of the people for D. Democracy on the Internet are activists already embracing a system, mostly of their own - with little inclination to consider others', So, this book was written with the purpose in mind to reach the general public seeking an answer to our current global and national dilemma. People mostly too busy earning a living, or running a household to surf the Internet. They can study the contents of this book at their own leisure - and draw their own conclusions. Hopefully...with a positive decision.

This book is dedicated to all men and women of good will...to lovers of justice and lovers of freedom.

The purpose of this book is twofold.
1. To open the eyes of the public to the lies and to other gross deceptions under which Humanity is constantly met with defeat in their struggle for Happiness, Peace, Equity - and Prosperity.

2. To offer the world a pragmatic solution with which to overcome these failures.

Disclaimer

Whilst this book contains critical comments and grave accusations against political, religious, and against other prestigious sacred cow institutions - in no way! are these criticisms and accusations to be construed or to be presumed that they are directed against any individual person.

Furthermore, I wish to state with the strongest emphasis that the pointing of fingers herein, do not mean to attack the intentions or the morality of anyone. But rather, the criticisms and the accusations herein are pointed at ideas and governing systems which I believe are based on falsehood and on injustice.

To quote Frederic Bastiat, (1850): "Whether I am believed or not, I declare that I do not mean to attack the intentions or the morality of anyone. Rather, I am attacking an idea which I believe to be false; a system which appears to me to be unjust; an injustice so independent of personal intentions that each of us profits from it without wishing to do so, and suffers from it without knowing the cause of the suffering."

Although the main advocacy of this book calls for profound changes to our governing systems through the empowerment of the people - in no way is it implied, advised, or urged for the advocated governing system changes to be achieved, or to be attempted to be achieved: through violence - or by any unlawful means.

Introduction

In this crazy violence filled world, void of any semblance of stable political, ecomonic - and moral continuity; a world in which standards of living and conceopts of justice and of morality, along with safety for self, family, and the nation change with breathtaking rapidity day by day...no decent family member, concerned for family, nation, and for humanity's well-being could possible sleep peacefully at night!

The whole world scenario consist of utter confusion of political, economic, and debased moral policies - with devastating reults on the populations of the world. The media: printed, audio, and visual; and authors of various caliber - paint an artificial past and contempory Reality which only leave us more confused then ever in the quest for Truth. As Pilate retorted to Jesus at His trial 2000 years ago: "What is Truth?" Yes - what is Truth indeed? And what is the Reality below the surface of this violent , rat-race, greedy world; propelled by utter selfishness? The real picture is well hidden behind all the razzmatazz of social conditioning programs of the media, and of Hollywood owned by half a dozen financial barons. As Gary Allen says in "None Dare Call it Conspiracy:"

"Most of us have had the experience, either as parents or youngsters, of trying to discover the "hidden picture" within another picture in a children's magazine. Usually you're shown a landscape with trees, bushes, flowers and other bits of nature. The caption reads something like this: 'Concealed somewhere in this picture is a donkey pulling a cart with a boy in it. Can you find them?' Try as you might, usually you could not find the hidden picture until you turned to a page further back in the magazine which would reveal how cleverly the artist had hidden it from us. If we study the landscape we realize that the whole picture was painted in such a way as to conceal the real picture within, and once we see the "real picture," it stands out like the proverbial painful digit.
We believe the picture painters of the mass media are artfully creating the landscapes for us which deliberately hide the real picture."

I've set out to the task in this book, not only to point out the causes of our dismal world, but unlike most writers dealing with the ills of the world - I dare to offer a pragmatic simple solution to our political and economic ills leading to Peace, Justice - and to Prosperity.

This work consists of some concepts of my own; and excerpts from other noted writers exposing : our beliefs creasted through falsified and corrupted historical narratives, not only falsified documents; but also by the omission of some of them. 'The World Today - Tomorrow', will also expose the real powers behind our elected governments - concluding with the offer of a 'self-government' system in which the common people can regain their power of self-determination in the aspects of: national and foreign policies; the economy; and 'law-and-order' guided by strict moral codes - with foolproof 'check and balances' against corruption.

The following articles and statements herein, are in no way to be taken as dogmatic "Truth" or "Falsehood." We must always keep in mind the axiom that 'one man's meat is another man's poison.' Or, in this instance: 'One man's Truth - is another man's untruth.' No two human beings hold the same concepts, or have the same understanding faculities, or see the same self-evident truth. Everyone of us is a unique mini universe, and thus - we see and understand all things from our own individualized unique perspectives - which often clash with the perspectives of others. Having said this, I wish you all a pleasant informative and an enlightening journey through these pages.
