Science and Religion, The Continuing Conflict, Book One

by B Elliott

203 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #02-1171; ISBN 1-55395-456-4; US$23.95, C$37.95, EUR24.70, £17.10

With all the upset, confusion, futuristic fright and total chaos, people have forgotten or never realized that they live on and in a self-adjusting and ever-changing universe. They have forgotten or never knew the planet they live on can be a sometimes-violent piece of work, and this violence is a natural reorganizing occurrence, not some mythical God striking out. The mental acceptance of this fact is more than some people can deal with and they sometimes end their lives prematurely, rather than accept the true explanation of it. This would be an altered result of extreme proportion.

About the Book

"After reading this book ,it is obvious now ,that I will go back to college and finish my education. How foolish it is to try and live in a world I do not yet understand. I have also decided never to marry a person I do not know and understand completely. The genetics of other cultures has been and eye opener for me. You can bet your life I will learn the genetics of the man I plan to marry and also his family. The number of subjects covered in this book has been unreal and a real education. I look foward to reading Book Two and the other books mentioned in Book One."
Anna Kelly, Portland. Oregon

"I have never read a more straight forward presentation on embryology and it's relationship to creation. I was flabergasted and I have been studying the subject for 4 years now. The writer's relationship on embryology and creation is wonderful and very intelligent. The formation of the brain and the instructions forwarded to construct other parts of the body was abosolutely mind blowing. We in Med. are aware of the over all picture but I never got into this area as it was explained by B Elliott and I bet it would be hard to find another MD who had done so. This was enough to sell me on the creative process."
Henry Bell, N.Y.

This book covers an unbelivable number of subjects,in great detail, and all of them were verifiable by our research group. Every student working on their Phd. was extremly excited. Our group covered all the Medical, Biological, and Theological aspects presented in this Book One also Book Two.The Astrology, Astronomy,Embryology and Astrobiology was like taking a graduate course in these and all the other subjects included. If you read both books you will really want to read his others. Every one in the Science, Biology, and Theology classes have already purchased Book Two after reading Book One.
John Henderson, North Carolina

This book will give you facts and information beyond your belief and with an open mind you will soon be able to reach your own conclusions on the particular questions and subjects at hand. The author is not trying to make you change your religious beliefs or have you become a scientist, agnostic, or atheist; but you will soon have the necessary information to understand Creation and the existence or non-existence of a Deity. Even if you do not reach your own conclusions, you will be better informed than you were before you read this book.

About the Author

The author's degrees and formal background in the medical sciences, biological sciences, and education certainly qualify him to write on the subjects contained in this book.

Also, his research in theology and astrobiology over the last 45 years have enabled him to express and draw on a wealth of information related to the subjects presented.

His adventuresome travels and explorations during his life are truly first-hand experiences, and his intense studies of world culture have added unbelievable insight to his writings.

His writings are educationally challenging and expressed in a straightforward fashion based on factual and theoretical solutions to the problems which mankind faces on a daily basis. This author is not the type to leave you wondering where he stands on a particular subject, nor is he one to leave you wondering why he believes the way he does.

His statements will cause you to reread and, in some cases, research particular areas of interest, but most of the time you will find the answers to your questions in the very next sentence or chapter.

The author has nothing to prove to himself concerning his beliefs in religion or science since he has reached his conclusions on both subjects and is waiting on additional factual information, which could possibly strengthen or change his beliefs. Obviously, he is open-minded and does base his beliefs on facts, new information, and the world of change, which surround us all.

He will give you facts and information beyond your belief and with an open mind you will soon be able to reach your own conclusions on the particular questions and subjects at hand. He is not trying to make you change your religious beliefs or have you become a scientist, agnostic, or atheist; but you will soon have the necessary information to understand Creation and the existence or non-existence of a Deity. Even if you do not reach your own conclusions, you will be better informed than you were before you read his books.

The author's exposure to life and the world as a child and adult were extremely varied since his family's travels and his exposure to various cultures was continuous.

The author's varied education has given him the knowledge and understanding to deal realistically with many different subjects with an open mind. Opinionated, sometimes you bet, if he has reached a decision based on facts he has studied and researched; however, he is able to change his opinion if new facts warrant change.

Remember and open your mind before you open your mouth. So read and be prepared for some real mental challenges.

The ultimate energy was once thought to remain in the body and brain. (So sad). Now we know it is the soul and neuronal consciousness. Now we have dualism! I have always believed that consciousness was temporally unified and spatially multiple and not located, as one thought, in any specifically separate area or zone. It is diffused through the whole brain. This energy level is our consciousness and any thoughts may be directed to go or stay at will. Distance is immaterial and time is at the speed of light.

I believe this energy level pulls together neurons and the size of the pool is determined by the state of consciousness. The more neurons we consciously pull into the pool determines the stage for a specific capability. Now comes the Energy, oscillatory waves on the right Hz band and then we contact the cortex. The longer the assembly of neurons, the longer the duration and strength of the consciousness state.

At this point I truly believe the soul or contained collection of neuronal thought groupings, that have not been interfered with by the constant mummification of once used protein, can travel at will from the physical brain. It will absorb energy created from its own vacuum and later from the space vacuum, depending on the length of the trip it has been directed to take by its own thoughts. When the trip or activity is completed or multiples of same, it will rebuild its energy and continue another; whether it returns to the body from which it came or enters another; or continues to roam throughout eternity. Right now, as always, there are a lot of studies on consciousness, but especially quantum approaches to consciousness. We know recently that Quantum coherence has been demonstrated in the brain. All of the work in this area will, I'm sure, enhance our ability to understand consciousness and further our ability to use it. The old energy level works in mysterious ways and it will be with us until, maybe, some Universal piece of trash stops us in our tracks, Earth and all. No worry, if we have developed to our full potential by then. Our soul will continue regardless. (See you there).

The energy we possess is the ultimate inheritance we possess and as long as it is protected, developed, and used, it will carry our thoughts into eternity. When I was fifteen, some days after school, I worked as an apprentice embalmer at a funeral home. I often got to stitch up after the autopsy was completed and I would sew forever. Setting there I would view and wonder the where of this departed soul. Later as a biologist, my view of the sedation of the senses was much clearer, but also left me with more questions. We have traced the energy back 250 million years already and released organisms from their state of, let's say, hibernation. We have done this as recent as two years ago when we found encapsulated bacteria. Just think. Alive after 250 million years. These bacteria were in a state of suspended hibernation and still alive, under the warm deep crust of mother Earth. They could just as easily have been on any other planet or moon of the Universe. Now we have revived organisms trapped and encased in salt crystals that were buried 2000 feet below ground level in New Mexico, USA. Not too many years ago, the oldest living things we had found were bacterial spores some 40 million years old. These organisms had formed spores around themselves for protection from harsh environmental surroundings. These organisms all lived long before the dinosaurs. Well, now, this really backs my belief that organisms could have been on this planet during the first reorganizational period. These spores could have come from any of the life supporting planets in the Universe. An asteroid could have struck a particular planet and the debris could have been ejected and collided with the Earth.
