THE WIFE

Two o'clock in the morning , I got up to go to the restroom. While coming back to bed I heard my door bell ring. This was out of the ordinary for me because I never had anybody to ring my bell at that time of morning. I walked over to the peep hole and I looked out. I saw a woman standing at my door. I asked if I could help her. She said, "I'm Janet Smith." I asked, "Who are you looking for?" She replied, " I'm looking for my husband, Mario." I nearly chocked to death. I couldn't believe that Mario's wife knew where I lived. She must have followed him here before. I politely lied and said to Janet through my door, "Mam, you've got the wrong house." She then walked away and I went back into the bedroom. I woke Mario up and told him his wife was here. Mario jumped up and put on his clothes. I asked him, "Where are you going?" He said, "Baby, you don't know Janet. She's only came to one female's house that I was dealing with, and it wasn't a pretty scene." He kissed me on the forehead and rushed out my house.

FIGHT

As soon as Mario walked out the door, I heard a loud noise. Janet had hit Mario in the stomach with a baseball bat. Then she pushed him around and slapped him. I called the police while they were fighting in the streets. After hitting Mario, Janet finally pushed him in the truck and drove off. When the police arrived, I told them that the people fighting outside had left.

Early the next morning when I walked outside to pick up my newspaper, I discovered that all four of my BMW tires were slashed. I had graffiti sprayed on my car hood stating, "Don't mess with a married men, they lie about their freedom to cheat!" After that drama, I didn't hear from Mario again and I didn't care. However, two weeks later, I received a money order in the amount of one thousand dollars and a letter stating, "Sorry for any inconvenience, no hard feelings!"
