by B Elliott

253 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #03-0151; ISBN 1-55395-788-1; US$26.95, C$39.95, EUR26.00, £18.00

The harsher the environment, the greater the need to survive, also the greater the intellect as a result of having to develop adequate survival techniques. Societal influences also play a tremendous part in our mental development throughout one*s lifetime. It is not hard to understand why one culture cannot readily be absorbed into another. Social, cultural, intellectual, genotypic, and racial developmental differences in humans have spanned millions of years. (Genetically alone for good reason).

About the Book

"I have always belived in a creator but I never could prove same.It is so great to understand and know the answers to enough of the questions that I can now really say I do believe and know why. What a relief and pleasent feeling. I can not explain my excitment! After 40 years of confusion and constant stress, my life has taken on a totally new meaning of truthful belief. Reading these two books has changed my life."
Beth Jennings, Washington, DC

"The class before us recomended Book Two and Book One and we were not disapointed; both books provided information that was needed to answer the profs test questions on creation. The books were very exciting and very straightforward. I never realized I would some day be confronted with such a clear explanation of Creation. I could write forever but you can find out for your self by reading the books. They are very uplifting and excitingly to the point!"
Jim Ragan, Dallas, Texas

"The most intellegent explanation of creation I have read! I truly believe that the subjects used (astrology, biology, embryology, physics and so forth) are expertly used and the excerpts from each area are used exactly where they should be.I have never read a more straight forward book! The author is very convincing and his explanations are very believable. Our research class has backed up all of the writers statements. It is not an easy book to read but we certainly did not expect it to be.We are looking forward to reading his other books. "
A reader, St. Louis, Missouri

SCIENCE AND RELIGION, THE CONTINUING CONFLICT, BOOK TWO is a collection of information relative to the creation of the Earth, our Solar System, and the Universe, also human creation, genetics, theology, and numerous other related subjects.

The author pulls this information together gracefully with a touch of quantum physics, genetics, astronomy, astrobiology, theology, and other sciences. He is able to give the reader a clear, concise, factual, and understandable direction to creation and the universe, his understanding of related theology and the search for a creator; also, the relationship of the two subjects in question. He finds the answer to both the questions and this makes the conclusion of Book Two a mind-blowing surprise.

About the Author

The author's degrees and formal background in the medical sciences, biological sciences, and education certainly qualify him to write on the subjects contained in this book.

His research in theology and astrobiology alone over the last 45 years have enabled him to express and draw on a wealth of information related to the subjects presented.

His adventuresome travels and explorations during his life are truly first-hand experiences, and his intense studies of world culture have added unbelievable insight to his writings.

His writings are educationally challenging and expressed in a straightforward fashion based on factual and theoretical solutions to the problems which mankind faces on a daily basis. This author is not the type to leave you wondering where he stands on a particular subject, nor is he one to leave you wondering why he believes the way he does.

His statements will cause you to reread, and, in some cases, research particular areas of interest, but most of the time you will find the answers to your questions in the very next sentence or chapter.

This published author has nothing to prove to himself concerning his beliefs in religion or science since he has reached his conclusions on both subjects and is waiting on additional factual information, which could possibly strengthen or change his beliefs. Obviously he is open-minded and does base his beliefs on facts, new information, and the world of change, which surround us all.

He will give you facts and information beyond your belief, and with an open mind, you will soon be able to reach your own conclusions on the particular questions and subjects at hand. He is not trying to make you change your religious beliefs or have you become a scientist, agnostic, or atheist but you will soon have the necessary information to understand Creation and the existence or non-existence of a Deity. Even if you do not reach your own conclusions, you will be better informed than you were before you read his books.

The author's exposure to life and the world as a child and adult was extremely varied since his family's travels and his exposure to various cultures was continuous.

The author's varied education has given him the knowledge and understanding to deal realistically with many different subjects with an open mind. Opinionated, sometimes you bet, if he has reached a decision based on facts he has studied and researched; however, he is able to change his opinion if new facts warrant change.

Remember, and open your mind before you open your mouth. You should read and be prepared for some real mental challenges.

Sample Excerpt

We must remember that we have been carbon gluing the essential elements and building protein chains in our brains for millions of years. Our individual cultural growth and expressions are not something we suddenly inherited. We have improved our mental capacity with each generation through our struggle to survive the environment we live in. All humans have confronted the environment on different areas of our Earth. Some ancestors had to combat the harsh cold climates and learn to survive, while others lived in a tropical paradise. There is no way that humans who lived in deserts, glacial areas, tropics, and other diverse environmental areas have profited equally from a survival and intelligence standpoint.

The harsher the environment, the greater the need to survive, also the greater the intellect as a result of having to develop adequate survival techniques. Societal influences also play a tremendous part in our mental development throughout our lifetime. It is not hard to understand why one culture cannot readily be absorbed into another. Social, cultural, intellectual, genetic, and racial developmental differences in humans have spanned millions of years.

Suddenly, society stupidly thinks you can embrace all cultures into one breeding mass of humanity! The stress and death exhibited just trying to mold socially, educate, medically care for, and feed one culture at a time, and rid ourselves of genetic abnormalities, sometimes takes millions of years. The problems of eugenics and/or birth defects are for real, and the genetic flaws, as mentioned, much less the intellectual improvement needed in these different cultures alone, is mind-boggling. There are those religious zealots who do not know, or care about, the terrible consequences, which will result from mixing these different cultures. I say let them move to the country of their choice, breed profusely, and live there forever.

The United States has suddenly, in the last 150 years, continued to allow so many other cultures to become a part of their wonderfully improved Northern European, English, and American Indian mix, that the ability to educate, care for medically, and mix socially is becoming a real problem. It is evident that some in society, even some of the more sophisticated, some wealthy, some political extremist looking for votes, and especially some of the religiously ignorant zealots, really believe their approach will pave the way for world harmony. Let's clean up the mess we have now before starting over again.

This continuing stupidity only gives the politically oriented more votes, increases the joblessness rate, reduces the wages of those already employed, allows the new immigrants to work at a reduced wage for the wealthy, be governed easily by the sophisticated, and looked down upon by some of the more intelligent, while providing a false sense of Godly success to the Religious Zealot. Many Americans do not care, nor are they even aware of, the current cost of tending to the new offspring of these newly integrated cultures; nor are they knowledgeable as to the tremendous number of mutated offspring which will result because of this mix. Each time there is a new cultural mix, there will be degradation of our current levels of genetic and social success in all areas of advancement. (Of course, there will be exceptions now and then).

The increased cost of this idiocy has already been unbelievable, just tending the drop of IQ levels and SAT scores alone over the last 40 years. I have already checked these! The IQ test levels have fallen into the extreme lower levels in our schools in just the last 10 years alone. The mixed cultural marriages have introduced a whole new set of problems to deal with, much less the pain and suffering of the mutated offspring from some of these marriages. It is difficult for most people to admit that cultural differences are a problem when offspring are considered; they look at this almost as though it will go away.

We have spent millions of years on our humanoid development and improvements, so have the Japanese, Chinese, and other cultures. Now, all of a sudden we are allowing our individual cultures to digress because of the ignorance of a few politicians and religious zealots. I remember a visit to a eugenics hospital in Central Florida. Our professor told us not to stare if we could help it! What a shock, boys and girls, young men and women with their diapers on, most in a bed or a wheel chair, and some on the floor.

Some with their hands, arms, feet, and legs that had, as they were a fetus, grown through their stomach, or had developed as part of, or attached to, their head, arm pit, or back. Contorted facial features almost too unbearable to look at. What reminded me of this was a trip to the post office just yesterday. There I saw a four or five year old child with the face of a movie-contrived monster. (I almost cried).

All of these pitiful people were housed like prisoners in a hospital-like environment, being cared for, and waiting to die. Most all of them could not talk, nor could they walk, and many were mentally deranged. Some could smile and you felt they knew what was happening. This was the painful part to me. Genetic and environmentally caused errors, some before, during, and after fetal development are more commonplace than most everyday people are aware of, especially in offspring from other cultures outside the United States.

We have these mutated children born to our people in the US even today, but the frequency is just not as great as it used to be. We have also caused some of these situations ourselves because of some drug companies' experimentations with new drugs. If we find drugs that are causing these mutated or deadly results today we simply ban the drug and sometimes the manufacturer moves to another country. Of course, the damage is already done, and the public is very seldom made aware of the consequences, and this is usually two or more years later. Some of the drug companies that move, set up in less intelligent societies and continue to operate, trying to recoup from the monetary losses due to former and current lawsuits.
