About the Book It is with joy that I share the gift of spirit with you. About the Author Louise is a traditional Anishinaabe teacher/elder of mixed ancestry, from the Bear and Eagle Clans. She is adopted into the Mississauga New Credit First Nation by Elder Calvin Sault. Louise carries a sacred Grandmother pipe and Universal Star lodge of the Grand Medicine for the New Children. She is a 20-year veteran in the fields of education and wellness and has graduate degrees in Physical and Health Education, Sociology, Education and a Master of Education degree. She has certification in various modalities of the healing arts. Her greatest gifts and teachers are her two loving, compassionate, creative daughters. A great part of her life has been spent in the forest, in creation, learning from Mother Earth, and in her stillness, learning about spirit and the gifts of spirit. Louise walks with Creator. Her mission is to unite people in a common vision - to heal themselves, and the rest of creation and to reconnect people to their innate wisdom and the gifts of their spirit. After many years of international speaking, she currently resides in Victoria, B.C. where she teachers First Nations awareness. Her school presentations incorporate traditional teachings and wisdom, ceremonies and wellness experiences. The intent of her experiential presentations is to help our young people become more aware of their social and environmental responsibilities, and to help them heal.
