About the Author
Dr. Carl R. Stekelenburg is a fifty-eight year old former School Superintendent from the state of Georgia. He was blinded in l993, due to a mistaken identity clubbing. He has been legally blind for ten years and has some other physical handicaps as well. In the winter of 2002, he published his first book, "The Burton Murder and Other Short Stories". This is his second book since the incident occurred. "Blind Date" recounts those events.
He has received four degrees beyond his high school diploma from Stillwater, Oklahoma. A Bachelor of Arts in Education from Southeastern Oklahoma, Masters in Education from Stetson University in Deland, Florida, Specialist in Educational Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida and his Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia.
He is trying to be useful again by writing.
