INTRODUCTION

If you have the desire to bow hunt, commit yourself to be the best bow hunter you can be. You owe it to yourself and to the game you hunt.

Some 25 years ago I decided to try my hand at bow hunting. The moment I drew my first arrow back, I was bow struck! Over the next several years, I learned by trial and error what worked and what did not. I turned some hard learned lessons into some well deserved success stories.

The intention of this book is to help you get started in bow hunting. I*ve tried to occupy the pages of this book with basics to get you pointed in the right direction. Fancy words and high tech terms have been left out. In their place, just plain and simple information designed to help you become a successful bow hunter. Subjects like how to select the right bow, arrows, accessories, hunting from a tree versus staying on the ground, advice on the proper hunting clothes and staying scent free. This and much more to prepare you for that moment when you must make the first shot and harvest your first deer. Good Hunting!
