About the Book
Two newcomers to the world of children's books have combined their talents to bring you this story, told from the point of view of a loving and wise sheltie named Rowdy. The wonderful illustrations bring Rowdy's story to life as he relates his life from puppyhood, when he was brought to a strange new home, to growing up in the love of a family who's closeness between each other and with him is heartwarming.
The value of pets and their bond with humans is explored while bringing the concept of a dog's feelings to the forefront. It is a wonderful story for children about family love and values, and is based on the real-life Rowdy and his family.
The story starts when Rowdy is six weeks old. He describes adventures such as being chosen by his new family, learning to go potty, enjoying nature and playing, meeting a skunk, visiting the vet, learning what his family means to him, and much more.
This book will tug at your heart, make you laugh, and bring Rowdy into your own living room.
