About the Book
SEUL CHOIX (pronounced "SIS-SHWA") LIGHT HOUSE and its keepers have kept watch over northern Lake Michigan on Michigan's Upper Peninsula since 1895. This is a partially fictionalized story of one family who lived and worked there in the late 1930s.
BOOK REVIEW
A fascinating work . . . traces the authentic background history of Seul Choix Point Lighthouse and surrounding area. This sensitive characterization of the keeper's families helps you understand what life was really like, living at a remote light station.
It is an outstanding example of the spirit of lighthouse keeping on the upper Great Lakes.
