About the Book

This book has all the ingredients: Imagination, perceptual awareness, vocabulary development, farm connections, repetition, humour and rhyme. Prior to being published, the original work was well received by audiences of all ages.

We are treated to the whimsical daydreams of a farm boy who would rather be down at the fishin' hole than doing chores: He ponders cow fish, pigfish, chicken-fish and even an outhouse fish. In the end we are counting sheepfish as we complete our fishin' and chores.
