About the Book

This captivating, story-based guidebook for the spiritual seeker outlines specific methods for getting through life's experiences by connecting with All That Is, ultimately creating a personal Heaven on Earth.

With courage and honesty, Guice describes a past filled with addictions that helped to numb painful emotions arising from lack of self-esteem. After a lifetime of perceiving herself as not good enough, she has an awakening where she hears the voice of God, and life is never the same. She becomes the spiritual seeker and has spiritual experiences that take her to places she never dreamed of.

You will learn about meditation, spiritual journeys, and a six step process of Becoming Multisensory. As the author begins to LISTEN and BECOME AWARE of everything around and within her, old negative thoughts and practices are discarded and she takes a different, less traveled road. This book is an emotionally moving autobiography interspersed with stories of healing, synchronicity, and Divine Guidance that will motivate and inspire you. You will learn how to meditate, how to listen to your intuition, how to watch for signs from nature and the dreamtime, and how to make wise decisions that empower you.

Prepare to be motivated!

Food for Thought
There are no accidents, there is a reason for everything, and everything is in Divine Order. Everything is a gift; how we perceive things is up to us. When our attitude is an attitude of gratitude, there are very few days that are overly challenging. Even the day then I am in the deepest, darkest pit, I know on some level the challenges are assisting in my evolution. Our attitude is what makes the difference. Yes indeed, I have chosen some challenging experiences in this life, and these experiences got me to where I am now. I am eternally grateful.

Chock full of quotes from some of Guice's favorite spiritual mentors, as well as offering the reader a vast list of recommended readings to continue the holistic journey to self-discovery, Becoming Multisensory delivers the goods; just add yourself to the mix and create very own "success" recipe today.

Excerpt 1: from Chapter 1, The Awakening

On a Saturday evening in 1988, my twin sons and I returned home after visiting Hudson, Wisconsin where we had enjoyed a Snoopy play with my sisters and their kids. We were tired but exhilarated. It was a good play and a fun time. My husband had been drinking and was in bed. He had not wanted to go with us yet was upset that we had gone without him. Before going to sleep, I touched his shoulder in an attempt to keep peace in our relationship and was rejected. Emotionally crushed, I withdrew into the fetal position.

In the depths of despair I heard a voice. "Relax," it said. I straightened my body. Immediately I was catapulted into the most splendid, fantastic, uplifting journey through the clouds. I had no body. I was bright, and sparkly, and light as a feather. As I passed the clouds, going at breakneck speed, thousands of stars whipped by. Clouds parted as I flew ever upward, climbing to an unfamiliar realm of peace, calm, and serenity. i was aware only of whiteness and warmth. I was enveloped in unconditional love. Then I heard the words, "You don't need that anymore."

The words shocked me and brought me back to my Earth reality. I then drifted into a deep and profound sleep.

A few months later I shared this story with one of my sisters. Thinking that this had never happened to anyone before, I was expecting her to say that I was off my rocker. Instead she simply smiled and said, "Oh, you had a Spiritual Experience."

Excerpt 2 - from Chapter 12, The Second Step

A sacred journey would be an adventure that facilitates your soul's growth at a faster-than-normal rate. As mentioned earlier, a most cherished and sacred place for me is a plateau in the Badlands of South Dakota called Sheep Mountain Table. I have had numerous spiritual awakenings there and would like to share one more...

The Adventure of Sheep Mountain Table

This story is about eight women on their annual spiritual retreat to the Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota in July of 1998. Our sacred journeys have an agenda, but we end up going where Spirit guides us. One sacred place we visited was Sheep Mountain Table. This table is the sight of a Ghost Dance that was held prior to the Ghost Dance of 1890 at Wounded Knee. As a book on the history of the Badlands tells it, the participants at this Ghost Dance were aware they were going to be massacred, but they chose to stay on the plateau. The book said there was a massacre there similar to that at Wounded Knee. Upon my first visit to Sheep Mountain Trail (see Chapter 8), the spirits told me a different story. They opened my heart to love, then told me they did not die, but "flew off the cliffs." I believe their energy is still on the plateau, the energy of pure, unconditional love; very different from the painful, sad energy at Wounded Knee. I am not alone in this thinking. I believe the spirits of those who flew off the cliffs are still there.

As mentioned in Chapter 8, this area is impassable if it has been raining, and it had rained much more than normal that year. Temperatures of 106 degrees were predicted, so we set out early. Eight of us were in a van, four in the back on mats. As we turned onto gravel, five miles from our destination, the road was rough and we had to drive about three miles per hour.

It has been my personal experience that we are not allowed on Sheep Mountain unless our hearts are open. My heart was not open that morning. I was in a funk. I was asking for guidance regarding a specific issue, but was not open to the feedback I was receiving. As the van vibrated over the washboard road, our eight voices joined in toning and my heart began opening. About halfway up the narrow, steep approach to the summit, we had to stop. The road was washed out. It was not passable. Perched in the driver's seat with my elbow out the window, I was thinking, "I really thought we were supposed to be here... we need this... it's important for us to be here." I was surprised and somewhat peeved that we would not be allowed on the Table. Then one of the women gently said, "Well, we're eight women, we can do anything."

Everything shifted. Without another word, I switched the ignition off and we exited the van. Using the tools we had - a couple of srewdrivers, some large towels, and our hands, every woman pitched in. Some took chunks of dirt from the ide of the road to crumble and place in the deep ruts. Some stomped the dirt to make it smoother. Others placed towels on the side of the road, loaded dirt into them, dumping the dirt into the crevices. Working together in silence for nearly an hour, we crumbled, hauled and loaded, repairing the road. When the ruts were sufficiently repaired, we high-fived each other and carefully guided the van over the repaired ruts. We joyously proceeded to the end of the plateau, another two very slow miles. We then went our separate ways, finding power spots and took time to listen, meditate, and connect with our individual guidance in theis sacred place.

For me, I was told that one of the reasons the road was washed out was because my heart was partly closed and it needed to open before we could enter. My heart did in fact open after working with these beautiful women. never once did any person say "oh, we can't make it," or "why did this happen?" We united in a joint effort and accomplished what was necessary to complete our journey. I was told that I was not the only driver (metaphor) on this journey and to listen and be open to the wisdom from everyone and every thing.

I had asked for guidance and then expected it to come in a certain way. I had expectations of the outcome, but that is not how the Universe works. I was weighing the pros and cons of my situation according to my guidelines.

Upon leaving a few hours later we discussed what had happened and shared our feelings. We met a van coming up the road as we were driving down. It was another amazing metaphor - not only had we repaired the path for ourselves; we also reconstructed that road so that others could come. Eight women paved the way for others.
