About the Book

The Yeast-Free Kitchen is an invaluable tool for anyone who is suffering from yeast overgrowths in the body. If you have been diagnosed with Candida, Candida Albicans, yeast, yeast infection, fungal overgrowths, microform overgrowths, etc., (or even suspect their presence) and are looking for help in overcoming these conditions, this cookbook will serve as a roadmap and guide to your recovery. It is a compilation of years of research and recipe testing. The diet itself is balanced and not overly restrictive, and achieves healing at a gentle but steady pace. It contains over 180 tasty and satisfying recipes which help starve yeast and clear the bloodstream of harmful Candida toxins. It is these toxins which contribute to a vast array of symptoms and many diseases.

The cookbook also contains a list of acceptable food and brand name products which can be found in both health food stores and regular grocery stores, plus a list of tips the author learned while healing herself.

This new third edition is revised, expanded and updated, and will help any yeast sufferer who is serious about defeating the "yeast-beasts" and their toxin producing overgrowths.

About the Author

Jane has been a lifelong student of holistic medicine and natural healing. In the 1980's she developed a systemic yeast infection, with all its attendant miseries, after taking several courses of antibiotics prescribed after dental surgeries. In her search for a natural method of ridding herself of candida overgrowths, she found a naturopath who put her on a yeast-free diet. Miraculously her energy and health returned in a few short weeks following the plan, as her immune system was brought back into balance.

As she researched this enigmatic organism and refined her recipes, a personal cookbook started to evolve. Other yeast sufferers started to ask for her recipes. Finally there were so many requests for information and recipes (and too many trips to Kinko's) that she self-published the first edition of The Yeast-Free Kitchen in 1993. A second edition followed in 1995. In the years since she has further developed and refined the diet as new research and information came to light. This latest edition resulted from that ongoing study.

Jane remains healthy and continues to counsel locally. She loves to witness the miracle of good health, returning to so many who have come to understand yeast overgrowths and how to eliminate them. Her kitchen is still mainly yeast-free. She and her husband Bill, have three children and four grandchildren, and are enjoying retirement on their farm in central Virginia.
