About the Book

This book is a stimulus to unlock the good in people. It starts with the Jamaican people. The technological revolution is upon us and Jamaica has always been a powerhouse in producing great scholars and athletes; however, the country has been poorly organized for success. This book will take us through the path of getting Jamaica organized by restarting the country with a new constitution and outlines a plausible path towards organizing the country then moving it to first-world status. This will be a standard for other countries to adopt. Wouldn't you like to be a part of this?

This book also introduces the traits of the 50 people needed to institute this system and their approach in restoring and advancing the society based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. After implementing the system, the world will witness a modern-day success in democracy. You will witness the transformation of politics to a decent service. The 50 honest people will emerge to lead the cause-you could be one of them, irrespective of your nationality. Be a part of something big. A must read for everyone!

Are you ready to enjoy your country to the fullest?

Imagine the following headlines:

Jamaica's high school graduates are being recruited in masses to attend foreign universities. For the third year in a row, 25% of Jamaica's high school graduates will receive full scholarships to American, European, Latin American, and Asian universities. Another 60% of the graduating class is expected to move on to local college/universities, 10% will fill the local job market and 5% to fill job-markets abroad.

Jamaican agricultural products are first-rate, organically grown and healthiest for consumption Ja cannot keep up with foreign demands. Tourists buying at local farm gates to get the produce they desire.

Minimal infrastructure damage after Category 3 hurricane moves through Jamaica. Rest of the world marvels at Jamaica's solid construction program. Jamaican architects and builders/construction managers are board certified to the highest standards. Foreigners touring Jamaican structures are in awe of Jamaican construction efficiency and beautiful designs.

Jamaican garment industry rated #1 in tropical casual-wear, local production cannot keep up with foreign designs, and even 80% of locals are showing strong preference for the local garments. Local garments beat all standards in strength, durability, comfort, and style. Jamaican garments get top cheers when modeled on international fashion-shows.

Crime-free/nonviolent Jamaica. Jamaica named the best place to live. Jamaica has lowest crime-rate in the world. Violence is practically nonexistent. Healthcare system is among the top 5 in the world, and ranked #1 in care and service provided. The secret to the successes is in the people -they care for their neighbors and respect each other. The "Greeks" and "Swiss" arrive today to study the system to implement in their homeland.

Arts/entertainment and sports industries though second only to the USA still leads the US in being the most considerate and fairest systems. Jamaican entertainers are the most generous donators to charity. Fifty entertainers/artists each donated at least $400K (US) to charity. "Street people" (the homeless) are a thing of the past in Jamaica. Jamaica is well represented at the Olympics in a wide cross-section of sports, claiming medals in the following sports: swimming (3), boxing (2), gymnastics (1), volleyball (1), track and field (16), soccer (1), cycling (1), wrestling (2), rowing (2)and Medal count at 32.

Jamaica is still considered the best location for high-technology industries. Investors and workers cite low crime/violence, friendly people, beautiful weather, an organized society, and a very intelligent and motivated working force to select from is the key to the Jamaican success. Jamaican workers are also cited to be the most innovative an honest you can find anywhere.

Two Jamaicans again are vying for Nobel Prizes, one in science, another in art/poetry. Time magazine is featuring a story titled "Jamaica: the Model Society."

Are these headlines Possible?

Yes. Not only are they possible, they will happen. Here's why. Jamaicans are resilient, never cowering to the pressures of racism abroad but always, always coming through on performance. Many children born abroad of Jamaican parentage, brought up with the Jamaican value-system not just do well, they excel. They have a trait that exudes persistence to learn and excel. What's more interesting is that after learning the rules of the game the Jamaican will excel at your game, because of his/her internal drive to make a meaningful contribution to the mission.

Overnight we will rediscover the successful Jamaican trait and realize it's time to get the country organized for success. The time is now and we have the wherewithal to develop this new system. It just requires 50 honest motivated individuals to start it. After implementing the new system of government the Jamaican society will see huge positive impacts within two years. Let's get these 50 people started now.

Here's the gist

The "50" would need the confidence and trust of the people. Guaranteed, you will see progressive changes in six months. The first five months is the settling in period: Two months to carry on old business, the third to transition to the new way, the fourth and fifth to enforce the new system. By completion of the sixth month, the nation would see positive effects of a progressive country.

These 50 people would need to be in government running the country, not all having key-leadership positions, but intimately involved in executing and sustaining the system. Success creates success, so this initial 50 will inspire and motivate others to join in upholding professionalism and impeccable customer service in serving the people. Shady-dealers will be abruptly removed and/or imprisoned for breach of the people's trust, same standards hold true for the original 50 with one exception--their punishment would be more severe for breach of the nation's trust. The original 50 will be held to higher standards of conduct.

Conclusion

In writing this book we did not shower the reader with broad "feel good" generalities, we took a stand and proposed some plausible solutions. Using Maslow's Hierarchy of Nee s was a way of addressing the country's issues in an organized and logical fashion. Once the 50 leaders come together their minds will reveal a more specific approach than what this book portrays. This book is the mere impetus to overcome our inertia of simplicity by thinking big and welcoming the 50 leaders. The constitutional reform is necessary, in order to break the country free from mediocrity and simplicity and have it join the ranks of the developed nations. Jamaica has too much talent to remain a third world nation for this long. It is shameful to watch those in power oppress the people they're entrusted to serve, rude customer service, untidy communities, and the ignorant wielding violence on the decent. If we're oppressing ourselves why did we ask for freedom and independence from Great Britain? Jamaicans, wake up. Each burglar bar you place on your window signals your yielding more turf to the hoodlums. Get organized and take back your country, you deserve a better way of life. Are you one of the 50 leaders we need? If nowhere is better than "yard" then show it by living it.
