About the Author Shirley Austin Wright enjoyed her years as a nationally certified interpreter for the Deaf and as a counselor for the Deaf with the State of Georgia. She traveled for more than twenty years, assigning interpreters to various requests, as well as accepting many assignments and speaking engagements herself. As a traveler, Shirley treasures the presence and protection of the Lord. This book contains a few of the communications between them, as well as "visits" between her and God as she helped care for her mother until her death. Mrs. Wright credits her years of service to the Lord's blessing and leading into and through area of His bidding. She lives in southeast Georgia with her husband, H.E.

Introduction

Maybe it's the middle of the night that I feel a tug and know the Lord has something I need to hear and save. Sometimes we talk while I am on the road driving to where I am needed next.

Mostly we would just sit around and enjoy the pleasure of each other's company while I, as one of three caregivers, watched over my mother's home going.

The Lord and I have mulled over the mundane, daily happenings in life and delved into deeper aspects of being His child. The following pages are a compilation of my "chats" with the Lord, my personal diary.

If you disagree with what I have written, rejoice and be exceedingly glad! Our Father uses various ways of communicating with us, and may be leading you in a different direction.

These writings are not intended to be guidelines for anyone, nor are they to be taken as words of instruction. I have simply put on paper some special moments and private times shared with my heavenly Father.

Learn from Him! Trust Him! Follow Him!

Whatever your reaction, I encourage you to enjoy a closer relationship with the Savior. Study His Word, talk with Him and listen, listen, listen.
