In travelling to a sacred place, one discovers the site's spiritual power within its actual setting. Each site is related to a specific chakra on the basis of the author's experience there and the symbolism and concept associated with the chakra. Each chapter begins with an original poem and ends with a guided meditation.

About the Author Margaret Bertulli has lived in Northern Canada for the past twenty years and has travelled throughout the Arctic and Subarctic, living and working in small communities in a multicultural setting. She has two Master's degrees in Anthropology and Creation Spirituality and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. She lives in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.
