About the Author
Ian Anthony works and plays in Toronto, Canada. He is currently employed as the Corporate Historian for Rogers Communications Inc., Toronto, Canada. This company is a leader within the telecommunications industry in Canada, with interests in caple television, cellular telephones, internet services and magazine publishing. As the Historian, Ian is writing a detailed chronicle of the company history, as well as creating archives and collecting items for a corporate museum exhibit.
Mr. Anthony possesses an Honours Degree in Political Science and History from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College, Toronto.
With experience in journalism and copywriting, it came as a natural progression to delve into creative writing. His first published book, a biography titled, "Radio Wizard: Edward Samuel Rogers and the Revolution of Communications" was a nominee for the prestigious National Business Book Award in Toronto, Canada.
"Ace Run" is his first novel, which went on to win a "Book of the Year Award 2001" from the publishing ouse BB Press in Hartford, Connecticut. The second draft of the "Ace Run" manuscript won second place at a creative writing contest at Humber College in Toronto. A screenplay has also been adapted from "Ace Run".
