About the Author Kimberly Bird is a member of the Metis Nation and was born in the rugged northern landscape of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where her ancestral blood runs strong. She now resides happily with her family in Alberta, Canada still close to the forests and river's edge. For all her complaining of the cold winters, she wouldn't have it any other way. She is an avid reader and enjoys most literature, especially historical fiction, which is the inspiration to her own story writing. Her first novel Knights Treasure was released in 2002, and she is currently working on her third novel called Pearls of Wisdom.
