About the Author

Edward Francis is a dynamic ESL teaching professional who is recognized as an innovator in the development of educational materials and the creator of a stimulating learning evironment. He balances 15 years of teaching experience with a proven record of achievement in curriculum development.

An innate curiosity about other countries is a key area of interest for Edward. In pursuit of cross-cultural experiences, he worked in Japan for a three-year period where he had his first ESL textbook published. He has also traveled widely in Mexico, Thailand, China, Saipan, England, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Canada and the United States.

Edward was a nationally ranked middle-distance runner and had the opportunity to compete against Carl Lewis at Bislett Stadium in Olso, Norway. Reading, traveling, snowboarding, and mountain biking continue to be his enoyable leisure time activities.
