About the Book
The sun beams down proudly on the village folk of Lindora as they cheerfully renovate their town. A prosperous year fills the village with happiness.
Not all is well as it seems, however. Mayor Zuppa has some unfortunate news to deliver. Clothes, toys, and much of Lindora's fine harvest have been mysteriously disappearing!
Who has dared to disturb the harmonious lives of the people of Lindora? Suspicions replace friendships as the tension begins to mount.
In a nearby village, the villagers find themselves in an uncommon place. Their worst harvest ever has left the village of Ellington in despair. Among the scared and starving citizens of Ellington, is a caring boy who is determined to devise a plan for their survival...
Meanwhile, in Lindora, a kind-hearted lad named Irwin wishes to mend friendships among his fellow comrades by initiating a game of hide and seek in the nearby woods. However, a shadow lurks in the woods, waiting to spoil their fun.
What has frightened the children of Lindora? And where are the supplies and possessions of the village folk disappearing to?

About the Author
Sherri grew up in Chilton, Wisconsin and attended Chilton Public Schools. It was during her early childhood where she discovered her love for books. She would spend her time reading and writing short stories and poems.
After high school, Sherri attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree majoring in Elementary Education. She then taught 3rd grade for Milwaukee Public Schools.
Sherri currently resides near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her husband, Shawn and son, Mason. She is presently working on a parent/teacher resource guide.
