About the Book Hi, I'm Albert and I am here to tell you that its not easy to be a bigfoot. I live in a cave, high in the mountains and am a terrific cook, but I do have a few problems. Kids understand me because they have the same kind of problems. I go looking for someone to play with and fall into a lake, have trouble with goats, bears, and even a forest fire. My big feet seem to get in my way, but I am really friendly and lonely and I would like you to read about my adventures.

About the Author V'ANNE DIDZUN has a BA in English Literature from Willamette University, and an MSL in Library Science from the University of Portland. She spent four years as a classroom teacher, and 26 years as a school librarian. She is a volunteer in a nonprofit used book store. V'Anne is also the author of Peter, the Restless Pioneer and has three more books in the works. Her interests include tennis, traveling, knitting, reading, genealogy, painting, and writing. Illustrator JOANNE SKOWRON is a northwest artist and has exhibited locally. She has studied with various Oregon artists in oils, drawing, woodcuts and calligraphy. She has also been a library aide in a primary library.
