About the Book

This is written in honor of my grandmother and all of the wonderful memories of her and warm spring afternoons on her porch swing. It was written for her and illustrated by a friend who has great talent that works at the same school I teach in. We encourage imagination in our students and think this is a great example of using your imagination to tell a story that is special to you and share it with others. It has been a great experience and one we hope to repeat and share with many more students to come. We hope it takes each reader back to a special time, place or peson in their lives and brings good feelings to them.
