About the Author

The author is a car "aficionado" who has driven almost everything with wheels and has kept old cars running when others thought there was no hope. He can fix almost anything. His first car was a Ford Falcon with no floorboard and a 3-speed column shift. After helping out friends with automobile issues over his 60 years, he decided to put his knowledge on paper. A Vietnam-era veteran, he is a prolific traveler, an avid sports fan, especially fishing, racing and tennis.
