About the Book

Easy Steps is a guideline with simple instructions to make cooking ease and enjoyable. Most can be made with little effort and little money. Some are more of fine dinning made simple.

You can make anything form Meatloaf to Chicken Marsala with little effort. The most important ingredient in cooking is your taste and preference. For example when using garlic some like a lot and others less. With hot pepper, some like it hot and spicy and others more mild.

I hope you find this book helpful and enjoyable. Look forward to my next book, BBQ and Salads.

About the Author

Born of German decent on September 1, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pa, I was married at a young age. I am the mother of two beautiful girls and the grandmother of one. Lorraine is 25, a nurse, and married to Steve, a Philadelphia Police Officer. They have a 10-month-old son named Tyler. Jessica, 19, is in school for ultrasound, radiology tech. She also works in a restaurant.

I've been a widow for 18 years. I worked in the food business for 28 years. After being injured on the job in 1998, I am permanently disabled, but I love to cook.

All my family and friends enjoy my cooking and always ask me for recipes. Since everything is in my memory, I started to write them down. Then everyone encouraged me to write a cookbook. I don't have any formal training. My knowledge, experience and creativity comes from my German traditions, working in restaurants and years of practice.

Cooking comes naturally to me. I would like to share these easy and quick recipes with everyone so that they may cook for their children, family and friends to enjoy.
