Idaho Bud is a fun story about a young man and his wife who make a decision to travel to Idaho to work on a ranch and live their dream. After driving hundreds of miles, these two wranglers arrive. "Idaho!" shouts Jimmy, "Idaho!" shouts his wife, "On a ranch we will live for this part of our life." They are met by a rancher and must travel the rest of the way on horseback. For the next six months, Idaho is their home. Then, "Early one morning a strange thing occurred, the bark of a canine is faintly heard. All of the campers start looking around, they look up at the sky and down on the ground." While everyone is searching, a brown speckled dog moseys quietly into camp. It's "Idaho Bud!"
