My name is Sgt. William L. Snead, USA retired. I am originally from greater Chicago Land - Joliet Illinois. I am now a resident of Amberg Wisconsin.

I served 23 years in the US Army. I served two tours in Asia, one on the DMZ Korea and one in the Middle East.

I also served three tours in Europe; one in France and two in Germany.

I speak Slavic and German semi-fluently and also some French and Spanish.

I attended two years in college; one at Chicago Teacher's College and one at Joliet Junior College.

I am also a poet of merit. I am a man and a holder of the Silver Cup at the International Library of Poetry: poetry.com
