About the Book

Grandma and Wilhemina go to the fair. They go to the fishpond and Grandma loses her glasses in the pond. While trying to retrieve them she falls in, then loses her false teeth as well. Wilhemina comes to Grandma's rescue by catching her teeth and glasses with the magnetic fishing rod along with several magnetic fish. They win prizes despite the many mishaps. Then they go through the haunted house. Grandma sets out to be brave for Wilhemina, but ends up being very scared and Wilhemina is the brave one who takes care of Grandma. Then Grandma sets down to eat and gets stuck in a chair, scattering a man's food tray all over the other children as they try to rescue her. The two go to the petting zoo and Grandma sits down to rest, but dozes off for a few minutes during which time the monkeys steal her purse. The monkeys get into her make-up, jewelry and the peanut butter she had for lunch. They make a mess all over themselves with the make-up and scatter the peanut butter over the other animals to the amusement of Wilhemina. At the end of the day Grandma is exhausted, but enjoyed her excursion to the fair with her grandaughter. Wilhemina is a very happy little girl having had a very amusing time with her Grandmother.

About the Author

The relationship between Grandma Liz and her grandaughter, Kennedy has inspired them to tell about their little adventures. "We learn form each other. During our times together, we don't always know who the adult is in the circumstances we get ourselves into, but our experiences have actually brought us to placeswhere we laugh a lot and sometimes cry. Most of all we have learned to love and respect each other no matter what life puts in our path. We conquer all together. I hope you enjoy our first book. We have many more to come.
