About the Author

Catherine was born and reared in Jamaica. She left Jamaica at an early age and went to Canada, Africa, and later ended up in America. Catherine has six children. There names are: Marlane, Marfie, Anthony, Dave, Elizabeth and Daniel. Catherine earned an AAS Degree at the Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York, Certificate in Business Management at the Urban League of Rochester. She also earned certificate in English Communication at the Jamaica School of Business in kingston Jamaica.

Mrs. Marks loves children. She believes children can be whatever they want to be in this life and decided to write for children. She also believes that the greatest legacy you could give to your children is a sound education and love. Catherine knows the importance of reading. She knows if she writes interesting stories, children will read to broaden their knowledge. Catherine is on the verge of finishing a story about her life in the many countries she has traveled. Presently she resides in New York with her sixteen Years old son, continuing to write children's books.
