The book is designed to help children who can identify the alphabet and their associated sounds transition these letters and sounds into words. The young reader will gain confidence in reading by being able to group the sound of each letter to form small words.

About the Author

Brenda A. Harris is a graduate of Illinois State University and the mother of one daughter. She enjoys seeing the excitement in her daughter as she learns to form words and read. She has dedicated this book to her daughter Dania, who is the inspiration behind A Day at the Zoo Brenda and Dania live in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
