About the Author

Gerald is an unconventional man for an unconventional world. Trained in fine art and business management, Gerald first dreamed up the story and the series concept at art collage in the 80's, but due to life's challenges and a lifetime of graduating in the university of hard knocks, he was unable to develop the story until now. He has traveled extensively and spent many years working in heavy industry. He has seen the decline of manufacturing in the western world. He has extensive insight into the problems of industrial pollution and through his travels through third world countries he recognizes that it's not just a problem with industry, but a problem with society in general. The state of the world's waterways are in terminal decline. Urban pollution from poorly designed info structure in rich and poor countries are contributing to destruction of the world's most valuable commodity, water. The detachment of people from the environment as people become more urbanized leads people to be complacent about their own lifestyle. We are all guilty of pollution in one form or another, and if this story only helps to change the habits of a few then it has not been written in vain.
