About the Book

Three young adventurous frogs go exploring one morning with only two instructions from their Mother: "Don't wander far and come home soon." Through the course of their day they are met with many situations that require decision making on their part and they quickly discover that their opinions are very different: Froggy One just wants to have fun, while Froggy Two knows what's right to do, and finally Froggy Three who only wants to eat, simply follows others and what they choose to do.

Many dangers await them, and the Froggys are taken on a ride by an enormous dragonfly and then they plummet into a wild river that sweeps them out to sea where they are nearly eaten by a gigantic fish, but soon find themselves trapped within a fisherman's net...

When the Froggys finally make their way back home it is nightfall and they huddle tight to Mommy in the safety of her arms. Many lessons are learned on this adventurous day but most of all the three Froggys learn never to ignore Mommy's advice ever again.

About the Author

Lance's love for storytelling has led him to a career in writing, which he is pursuing with great enthusiasm. But Lance began his professional career some 14 years ago (in 1990), as an artist/animator in his hometown of San Diego, California. Lance has worked as the Assistant Director of Animation for American Film Technologies, on a season on "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" for Fox television/ Marvel Comics, and he has enjoyed a career in the field of electronic gaming, eventually working as a Conceptual Designer and Art Director for GTE Entertainment and Angel Studios.

While Lance plans to continue to write children's stories, he is also interested in developing his ideas for television and feature animation. Lance presently works from home, heading his own business, Rogue Creations, and living comfortably as a freelance (no pun intended) artist in San Diego with his fiancee, Julia Sage and his 10 year old son, Landon.
