From the Author Hello, my name is Jim Des Rocher I am a 56-year-old union electrician. I have been divorced for 20 years and have a 22-year-old daughter who is a senior in college. Being a good father is the most important thing in my life, and my daughter is someone who any parent could be proud of. I am a very independent person who likes to try different things in life. I value my friends a lot and I respect those who are honest and hard working. have been involved in three different businesses in my life. I had my own electrial contracting business which was going very well until Reaganomics put a lot of small businesses out of business A few years later my wife decided that we would try the clothing business, but that ended because of our divorce. I went from the clothing business to the video rental business and operated that until I had a heart attack, and decided that I did not need that hassle anymore. I am now back being an electrician and I am enjoying it more than ever. I was always one of those goof offs who always enjoyed a good laugh. I try to make things fun for those around me. I like all kinds of sports, but I like college football the most. I am a big University of Michigan fan and enjoy going to as many games as I can. I also enjoy fishing and spending time at my hunting camp that I share with five other great guys. I am just one of those ordinary guys that go to work every day, and struggles to take care of my personal business, just like most people in this world. I generally am not a very political person and I am not involved in any political organizations other then being union member. For some reason I can not get a statement out of my head that was made by President John Kennedy back in the early sixties. That statement has always made me think about how we could achieve World Peace. I don't think a day goes by that I don't think about ways to achieve World Peace. At first it was just a mental exercise, but over the years I have started to realize that things were rapidly falling in place that could finally make achieving World Peace possible. I can talk a lot, and every time I would bring up the subject of achieving World Peace, it seemed that I was talking over eveyone heads. So I would just change the subject, and wonder why no one ever wanted to talk about achieving World Peace. Then along came the attacks on 911 and that made me really get serious about my plan for achieving World Peace. Now, never in a thousand years would I ever imagine that I would end up writing a book about how to achieve World Peace. I have very limited literary skills although over the years I have tried to write down my thoughts on achieving World Peace I was never serious about writing a book, although the thought was always on my mind. I guess I always assumed that there were a lot of people in this world who would be working on plans to achieve World Peace, and sooner or latter the would step forward and introduce their plans. I decided to get on the internet and do some research and see if I could hook up with other people who were working on plans for achieving World Peace. I was surprised when I could not find anyone, anywhere, who was working on solving the World Peace problem. At that point I knew this was going to be up to me.
