About the Book

Pack your bags... THE LAST DIARY SESSION takes us on an incredible adventure through the backstage reality of Reality TV. Its deeply philosophical style brings through a perception-shattering message to the searchers of today with unmatched cult humour.

What started out as a diary to sort out his own recollections resulted in a book written by Zlatko Fabris, or better know to South African audiences as 'Zee'. ''I am no Author, I am no Writer. I had no idea how this all worked, but the Great Spirit brought me signs and placed things in my path that I could never ignore,'' said Zee.

The Last Diary Session is a real life story of the backstage spiritual journey of a Reality TV personality. The Author was chosen for the reality TV programme - Big Brother, and came out on the other side of a spiritual roller coaster, with a story to be told on the reality of Reality TV. The book jumps from his present, to his past, to his crazy travel experiences, to his spiritualism and philosophies, to the way he sees art and culture, to the joys and struggles of growing up in the world we live, and it forces us to pack our bags and join him on a fascinating trip into the mind of a temporary public personality.

About the Author

Zlatko is a South African, born of Croatian parents. He likes to call himself - ''The Jungle Slav.'' He grew up subsistence style on a farm north of Johannesburg, with a five sibling strong family. ''The country of my birth is no easy place to live, and has taught me more than I needed to know about the joys and pains of multicultural politics. I have a Degree from the University of Cape Town. I have travelled to the four corners of the globe, of which I am eternally grateful for, to have seen man in all its shapes and sizes, taking the positivities of all the different cultures with me, along my way.'' He is currently working on a tv travel show that focuses on the human, the way life and understanding of being a human changes all over the world.

''Somehow between there and now, I got wrapped up in Reality TV mania, which took me on a journey I could never have imagined in my most wild and mixed up dreams. And the biggest journey of all was the after effects - the physiological slow down, and the acceptance of the rise and fall,'' said Zlatko. Take this story from where it comes - a once off half star, a traveller, a builder, a restaurant owner, a seeker of more, a young man searching for a land that can only be seen through the eyes of the blind.
