About the Book
This book is an understanding on how Yoga was developed.
Babu is a darling little dog, very loving and fluffy. He loves to play hide and seek, with toys and with Balloons and loves to eat pizza and all kind of raw human food. He loves to rest and sleep in his crate. But best of all, he loves to stretch after a good nap. His stretches have names: "downward dog and upward dog."
And that is how the different Yoga poses where born, by observing how animals stretch and relax.
Yoga for children is a good way for them to stretch and relax while they pretend to be different animals. They will feel the difference afterwards by feeling more relaxed and centered. Teachers have told me that they really can feel the difference in the children after they had a Yoga class with me.
There will be a whole series of Babu the Yoga dog books after this first one, with more stories about Babu and more Yoga poses. There will also be more workbooks, Cd's and a video about Yoga for children.
