About the Book

Arrogant Alibi is a story about a young woman named Joanne, who disappears from her apartment, leaving her two young daughters, devoted parents and new fiance to unravel the mystery. The setting is in a small town on the Oregon Coast during the late summer months.

The book is fast-paced as each character begins his own personal and desperate search for the truth. Meanwhile, the prime suspect, Joanne's ex-husband, is slowly being driven crazy by his guilt, paranoia and possibly Joanne herself.


About the Author

Desirée Hammon lives in the small town of Florence located on the beautiful Oregon Coast. She has written many as-yet-unpublished poems and short stories. Desirée is married and has three children. She enjoys writing, playing the piano and cooking.
