About the Book

The text is in rhyme in this first of a series about Frieda the frog, and her friends, Thomas the turtle, Frances the fish, and Sammy the snake. They meet at the nearby lake, their favorite play area and have a wonderful day. They hate to see the day end. Frieda realizes tomorrow could be just as much fun as today -- as long as the friends are together. The colorful playful illustrations will tell your 1-2 year old the story and show the fun, security and warmth when he/she is with friends.

About the Author and Illustrator

A mother/daughter team who have enjoyed reading to their children are now the co-authors of a series of stories about Frieda, the frog and her friends.

Cheryl Sailors, presently the director of a wellness center for older adults, is the mother of a young daughter, Madalyn. Janet James, Cheryl's mother, has three other adult children, Jeff, Dave and Dan. She read to her children for years and now is reading and writing for her grandchildren.

Frieda & Friends' illustrator, Vanessa Knight, is an author and illustrator of three Trafford books of her own which include: A Tale of Tricksters, A Pig and a Pug, and Moki Macaroni.
