About the Book

Get the Interview Edge! is not your typical interview tips book. You will not receive a long list of interview questions and answers and be told to memorize questions that do not even get asked during an interview. Instead, you will learn a formula for answering the two key styles of interview questions: holistic and behavioural - which will enable you to do well in almost any interview - when faced with almost any question! In this book, learn to :

*improve your interview skills with technique known to deliver powerful answers

*understand the definitions of skills to know why interviewers are asking certain questions.

*learn how answers are rated on a scale and how to differentiate between weak, strong and exceptional answers

*receive example answers to help you compare yourself to those who give weak, strong or exceptional answers and improve the answer you may given.

*avoid mistakes many candidates make by using effective proactive strategies.

The examples in this book were written with recent graduating students (undergraduates or graduates) in mind. Although many of the examples provided are more relevant to recent graduates, the tips, competency definitions and scale descriptions, are relevant to all who seek a job.

Written by two experienced interviewers, Get the Interview Edge! will help you gain interview skills that will put you ahead of other job applicants!
