In 1960, Hazel Mumby (Hazel LaFaver at the time) was given an acrostic poem of her name and was so impressed by it, it was her inspiration to start writing her own acrostic poetry. For the past 30 years, she has been creating Personalized Poetic Portraits for all occasions for family and friends.
Hazel was born in southern California and has been living in south Florida for the past 24 years. Ateea to Zeea is her first publication.

About the Artist:
Mick Blash is a former active-duty U.S. Marine who was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. With an interest in art at the early age of 3 who, now at 40, has lived a life of experiences that has opened the door of opportunity to allow him to combine his artistic gifts with Hazel's literary talents to present to today's preschoolers and young readers this gift of knowledge and excitement in learning.
Signature Reflections is Mick's endorsement of the excellence that exists in the reflections of imagination and he is delighted to introduce the reader to his illustrations in Ateea to Zeea.
Mick currently lives in central Florida.
