About the Author

Sandra Jones is an Atlanta native born in the early 70's on May 16. She was born to Mary Lizzie and John Edward. She has a Journalism degree from Atlanta Metropolitan College and is receiving another Journalism degree from Georgia State University.

Sandra got her start at Northside High School of the Performing Arts where she became interested in literature. Most of her English teachers in high school encouraged her to write creatively and she takes that inspiration with her in her college career.

A few of Sandra's favorite writers are Michael Baisden, the author of Men Cry in the Dark and J.K Rowling, the author of the famous Harry Potter books. Sandra says that she "admires the fact that J.K Rowling was a single mom making it happen for herself. She is one of the best writers that I can think of for inspiration and I love her Harry Potter books. I just can't put them down. I'm hooked. I would love to meet her one day."

This is Sandra's first novel, but definitely not her last. She hopes to continually be blessed with the ability to create stories that entertain and inspire young adults. She also would like to write novels for African American's to promote literacy to our future...Our children.
