About the Book

Hammerstone 1147 - The Birthright, is a rollicking roller-coaster ride through Norman England. When Robert Courtland falls through time and lands in a Medieval castle, he finds not only non-stop adventure and sword play, but also true love and bonds of friendship that even death cannot tear asunder. Lost in time, he finds himself.

Additional Comments

Robert Courtland was a man in the prime of youth, strong of limb and blessed with a quick intelligence.   He suffers a serious injury  ... and comes to ... not on the even of the twenty-first century, but in an English river drifting through the year 1147 AD.

Saved by a beautiful girl, Robert is led to Hammerstone, a mighty high-walled castle where he discovers he is the son of a sadistic Norman Earl, Sir Reginald de Courtelaine, and the target of a deadly conspiracy.

Follow Robert into the medieval world of Norman England.  A land of absolute power and abject poverty  ... of breathtaking beauty and brutal horror.   From the cold stone dungeon of Hammerstone Castle to the royal court of King Stephen, Robert must fight to keep his life and his sanity.   He loses his innocence but finds true love.

Grasp your swords and hold onto your hearts.

Hammerstone beckons!
