About the Book

My Last Ride is a story about the life and loss of a beloved pet dog told from the dog's point of view. The owner and her dog in the story enjoy going for rides in the car together. The dog grows old and dies, but doesn't want his owner to feel sad over his loss, but rather wants his owner to remember all of the good times that they had together. It is a charming book for children of all ages as well as adults to help cope with the death of a pet. The author was inspired to write the story after the death of her beloved dogs. This book is a tribute to them.



About the Author

Patricia Griffith-Burger currently resides in Margate, Florida. She is originally from New Jersey. She received her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and her Master's degree from New York Insitute of Technology in Psychology of Human Relations. This book is dedicated to the memory of her three dogs Layla, Sam and Freddy.

About the Illustrator

William Russell Griffith, brother of the author currently resides in New Jersey. He is an artist and a musician. His illustations and vivid imagination helped bring the story to life, and his involvement in this project is deeply appreciated.
