About the Book

Soulful Inspirations is a collection of my thoughts and poetry that span many years of my life. I write from deep within my soul by way of words or lines of poetry that enter my thoughts. I find that at times I am wakened from a deep sleep with a line of poetry running through my mind. I feel compelled to get out of bed and write when these moments happen and once I start the entire poem or thoughts to ponder seem to flow freely onto paper.

I am profoundly affected by all that is around me. Be it beautiful scenes, conversations with good friends to a simple at or from a stranger.

I consider my poetry to be a gift from a higher power and is meant to be shared with all who read my words.

If just one poem or thought touches one of my readers and inspires them to go on to better things in their lives then I have done what I believe is the reason for my receiving the gift of writing.
