About the Book

I'd like to share how it was for me to be "a natural," a child born into a fosterfamily, for most of my life. My parents fostered for almost thirty-nine years, and even while living out of province I maintained relationships with my foster brothers and sisters with the help of telephone and mail. There are things that I will share with pride and there will be incidents I will share that I have carried with shame. I have tried to be as honest as possible without jeopardizing the privacy of others. I write with hopes that somewhere within these pages you will find at least one thing of interest, or at the very least learn something you never knew, or realized.

What I've written here is my reality. I am just one individual who for years has been fortunate enough to experience life as "a natural" from different stages of my life.

About the Author

Presently live in Ontario with family building my wall of memories. My journey has been truly blessed with the abundance of opportunities to revel in the beauty of the spirits of children. Although not being part of fostering anymore or having any children of my own, my friendship with a child named James continues to remind me of just how precious children are to me... and to society.
