About the Author

Charlie Storey has won over 60 open chess tournaments and acquired three different National Chess Champion titles. In September 2004 he defeated World Champion Finalist Grandmaster Michael Adams in an officially rated game.

He has taught chess professionally in schools for over 15 years. His organisational skills have seen him organise many Grandmaster Chess tournaments and captained Newcastle Mind Warriors in the British National Chess League Premier Division where he played board 1.

In addition to being a talented chess player/author he is also a qualified Level 2 Professional F.A. Football coach, C.R.B checked and First Aid trained.
